advent adventures: day 13.

mmmmmmmmmm.... in the immortal words of my brother, chris, the best thing about christmas is eggnog.  have you ever noticed, however, that kids don't love hot drinks? (or is this just my toddler?!) and pregnant gals should probably abstain from alcohol?  so... anywho, eggnog milkshakes are a better alternative for this household at this point.  and they're remarkably easy (french vanilla ice cream + egg nog in the blender = mmmmmmm!  and don't forget the whipped cream, and a maraschino cherry for good measure!)

 add the ice cream...

 then add the egg nog!

"i press the button, mommy!"

 "i'm having fun, mommy!"

 "deeeeeee licious!"
